Nepenthes Pitchers are unique due to the size of the "Pitcher" which is huge, there in a youtube video that shows one that has trapped a frog, and a few fact sheets that state rats and shrews have been trapped and digested
The seedling I offer is a Lowland Variety, ( N.lowii x boschiana and N.ventricosa x sibuyanensis ) so duplicating their environment is easier that a Venus Flytrap, especially during the Winter Dormacy
You can also fertilise these with COFFEE, a fact sheet and How To Grow Sheet is available with each order
Most of the Nepenthes family of Pitcher Plants are that rare they are nearly extinct, The seeds that I import come from a fully sustainable supplier. They propogate plants to return to forestry's and sell their available seeds when able I cannot guarentee availability for future orders based upon this until a demand of 10 plants per month is reached
Rare Nepenthes Pitcher Plant (Lowland)
You can grow these in a hanging basket under the patio to obtain filtered sunlight during the day in summer moths, and bring them inside (Terrarium) during winter months Low maintenace, but ensure the media is kept moist This may see watering twice daily during summer Fertlise requirements is low as they gain enough nutrients through insects caught in their Pitchers
